WebAug 17, 2014 · So I am fitting new architraves to 8 internal doors tomorrow, 5 of which I have had new architrave light switches installed on a month or so ago (At the time I had no intentions of replacing the architraves, silly me) - So what I am wondering, is when fitting the style sides that require a switch cut out, whats the best way to cut the holes ? … WebLvt can be scribed right up to a skirting board an architrave can be cut so the lvt slides underneath leaving no gaps at all. It is sometimes necessary to silicone to finish but not 10mm gaps.
