WebThe inclusion criteria were (1) first episode of stroke, (2) solitary hemorrhage in the pons confirmed by brain computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), (3) age 20 years or above, and (4) no severe cognitive impairment, with a Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score of 23 points or higher.
