Web23 Aug 2010 · The Summit cams- 2800 is way too small and runs out of breath at a very low rpm, 2801 will rip your head off to 5200 rpm in a 455 but then shuts off like a rev limiter, 2802 has lopey idle and less torque midrange, and with stock heads won't rev over 5200 rpm anyway on a 455, because the stock heads become a restriction
